Residential Living
The Activity Directors at Legacy Heights assess resident needs and develop individualized activity plans. Holiday celebrations, birthday parties, board games, Bingo, exercise, arts and crafts, religious services, story hour, and daily newsletter and television viewing are all part of the diverse activity program at Legacy Heights.
Residents, families, staff, and volunteers play an important role in the planning and implementation of activities and resident guided activities are supported as part of the activity program. These activities allow residents the opportunity to be involved in choosing, developing, and implementing the activities they enjoy most.
The courtyard and outside pavilion at Legacy Heights is available for safe, accessible outdoor recreation and fresh-air activities. It provides a delightful location for family get-togethers, social gatherings, and other outdoor fun.
The in-house beauty shop at Legacy Heights is available to residents with a licensed cosmetologist scheduled weekly. Haircuts, perms, and coloring are all done on-site.
The volunteer program plays a vital role in the activity department’s day-to-day routine. Volunteers at Legacy Heights provide assistance with hair care and manicures, holiday programs, games, Bingo, dominoes, and other activities that help improve residents’ day-to-day routines.
